A table at Ramsay's? No problem, madam
Opening doors: Model Stefanie Wilson is helping the service.
An exclusive booking service aimed at women and promoted by Britain's Next Top Model contestant Stefanie Wilson will enable members to obtain hard-to-get reservations at Gordon Ramsay restaurants and entry to nightclubs such as London celebrity haunt Mahiki.
The Little Black Book London is the brainchild of Nick Hines, a former chef at Michelin-starred restaurants who also has links with exclusive clubs and hotels in the capital that will open their doors to its members.
Bookings can be made through a personalised page of the website thelbb-london.com. At present, the service covers about 60 top-rated restaurants and 30 clubs.
There are three levels of membership providing different degrees of access and Hines said the service was the first of its kind to be targeted exclusively at women.
Wilson will help develop the service's fashion offering, which will include entry to events such as London Fashion Week.
Hines said there was potential to roll out the concept in other cities and overseas and there were plans to launch a restaurant booking service called The Dining Club.
Among The Little Black Book's marketing links is a tie-up with boutique hotels website Mr and Mrs Smith, which enables members to access its subscription site.
It also has an agreement with fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar to promote events and membership.
Hines said: 'Our service is aimed at busy, successful women who can use it to plan their social activities. We have spent a long time developing our site to create personalised content.'
The company earns money through commission from restaurants, clubs and bars, as well as membership fees.
