Stephen Colbert claimed the Nazis were better than US immigration officers as he continued with his non-stop rants against Trump in his show's final months.
On Monday's episode of The Late Show, Colbert blasted Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino for defending Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers during a recent interview.
Bovino was recently removed from overseeing operations in Minnesota after federal agents shot and killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
Colbert played a clip of Bovino telling CNN's Dana Bash that anti-ICE protesters are comparing federal immigration officers to Nazis.
'They're trying to portray Border Patrol agents and ICE agents as Gestapo, Nazis and many other words,' Bovino said.
Colbert interrupted, 'Yes, do not compare ICE or Border Patrol agents to the Nazis. That's an unfair comparison. The Nazis were willing to show their faces.'
The late-night host also criticized Bovino for claiming that the real victims of the two deadly shootings of US citizens in Minnesota are 'the Border Patrol agents.'
'Bulls**t. Masked agents shooting innocent people with impunity in the streets are not victims,' Colbert said.

'The only way they could ever even be considered close to victims is that they are, at best, weak-minded individuals full of anger who have been led to the darkness by Donald Trump and are now participating in an evil system that will stick to them like hot black tar for the rest of their lives.'
He also provided sharp political commentary on the fatal shooting of Pretti in Monday's episode.
'Today, more than 50 percent of Americans are digging out from a massive winter storm, freezing temperatures from Texas all the way up to Maine,' he said.
'It's frigid here in New York City. I want to thank everyone here who stood outside in the cold today before you came. I think we can all agree, f*** ICE.'
He was critical of Trump's administration for labeling Pretti a 'domestic terrorist,' claiming they 'immediately blamed the victim' - as he said they did in the previous shooting of Good earlier this month, also in Minneapolis.
It comes as Colbert's nonstop Trump rants have caused dwindling viewership in its final months.
Early Nielsen data for January showed The Late Show pulled in just 285,000 viewers in the advertiser-coveted 25-54 demographic - the worst in the show's ten-year history.
CBS and Paramount canceled The Late Show last summer after 10 seasons, citing declining late-night revenues.

Some said the decision was politically-motivated to appease one of Colbert's most powerful critics: President Donald Trump.
Others said that Colbert was clearly a political martyr amid the changing times under Trump, who praised the network's decision to let go of Colbert, a long-running critic of his.
Also on Monday, Colbert revealed the final episode of The Late Show will air May 21 while he was appearing as a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
'It feels real now... it did not feel ... I mean, I know it was real, but now, there's four months left,' he said.
