Have I been permanently damaged by abortion?

I had a termination of an eight week pregnancy about seven months ago. It was

my first pregnancy.

I did have problems as it was an incomplete termination

and I developed an infection and was hospitalised for five days.

Ever since I

have been bleeding at intervals, sometimes I bleed right through to my next

period.

The doctors say they can't find anything wrong, please advise me.
