A blogger who struggled with eating disorders and depression has shared candid selfies taken minutes apart to showcase the dramatic difference before and after they have been edited.
Milly Smith, a UK based nursing student and mother-of-one, is hoping to prove that your body doesn't need to be picture perfect to be beautiful through her Instagram account Selfoveclubb.
Many of her images that she shares with her 147,000 followers show two shots of her side by side with the before shots looking natural and unposed and the after shots looking like there has been a considerable amount of time and effort gone into them.

However, there are no diets involved or weight loss transformations they are just simply different poses, sometimes with a few edits or filters.
Milly says: 'We are so blinded to what a real unposed body looks like and blinded to what beauty is that people would find me less attractive within a five second pose switch! How insanely ridiculous is that?'
The mother is not only candid when talking about her body but also shares her struggles with depression, anxiety, self-harm, anorexia, and binge eating with her followers.
Milly also has a chronic illness which she deals with daily that has left her with hair loss which she also bravely documents.

In the hope to spread her body positive message Milly also has her own vlog on Youtube where she encourages others to be confident with how they look.
She says: 'You were put on this planet to make the most of your life and dieting doesn't allow you to do that'
Milly believes you should be able to eat what you want to eat, but to have a reasonable and healthy relationship with food.
When it comes to exercise she enjoys it but adds: 'don't force yourself to go to the gym from diet culture when you hate it, you don't need to.'
'Your life doesn't begin when you've lost weight!'
In many of her shots Milly showcases how different her body can look simply by changing her stance and her pose, revealing that the second photo was taken just six minutes after the first
