How to get a new nose WITHOUT going under the knife: Pioneering treatment uses fillers to even out bumps in 40 minutes (and it's a tenth of the cost of cosmetic surgery)

  • Dr Ayad Harb has developed a non-surgical nose job using fillers to fix flaws
  • He injects the filler into three different points to even out unwanted lumps
  • Procedure takes just 40 minutes and leaves patients with minimal bruising

Living with a nose you don't love can be a blow to your self-confidence.

But going under the knife to have the problems corrected can be costly - and painful. Now a plastic surgeon is offering a pioneering alternative that uses dermal fillers to give patients the same results without the trauma of a surgical procedure.

Dr Ayad Harb, whose Qosmetic clinics operate in London, Birmingham and Oxfordshire, developed the new '3-point Rhino', which sees him inject Perfectha filler into the top of the nose, the bridge and the tip to even out lumps and bumps.

In just 40 minutes, patients walk out the door with only a touch of redness and bruising - a far cry from the two-week recovery time after an operation. And at just £500, the treatment costs roughly 10 per cent of a surgical rhinoplasty.

While it cannot rectify extreme deformities or make a nose smaller, the treatment offers an option to those fearful of having plastic surgery.

Dr Ayad, a trained plastic surgeon added: 'The "3-point Rhino" is a new and novel technique in non-surgical nose correction that I have developed. This technique is the safest and least invasive method of shaping and refining the nose, while inflicting the least trauma and delivering consistently beautiful results.'

'IT LOOKS BETTER THAN MY FRIEND'S NOSE JOB'

Tabitha Nash, 23, works in PR for Formula One

Life-changing: PR worker Tabitha Nash before, left, and after the pioneering '3-point Rhino'. The 23-year-old said she had always been 'way too scared' to consider plastic surgery

Tabitha said: 'I've always been very insecure from a young age about the appearance of my nose - I would hate looking to the side when I was near anyone, and would delete any photographs people took of me from the side and although many people said it was nothing to be insecure about and that that "my nose was fine" it still bothered me.

'I first saw Ayad Harb's work on Facebook and I thought the girls had actually undergone surgery to get the results (something I have always been way to scared to even consider). Once I read on to find out it was done with filler injections I was amazed and phoned to book a consultation.

'I met with Dr Ayad Harb and he made me feel so welcome and at home and went through everything the non-surgical procedure involved.

'I booked in for the procedure for two weeks time, so I had time to really think about it and change my mind if I wanted too.

WHAT MAKES A NOSE UGLY?

Dr Ayad said: 'A nose that is unattractive starts low down in the face, it is imbalanced and bottom heavy. Then it has an exaggerated curve and it dips down at the tip.'

To rectify this, the doctor injects fillers at three different points:

1. Between the eyeballs, at the top of the nose. This addresses the bottom heavy, imbalanced look and gives it a lift.

2. The bridge. Filler can give it a straighter bridge, evening out any curvature.

3. The tip. This gives the tip of the nose a lift and 'gives it this nice little break that is very feminine and attractive'.

'But of course I didn't - I was very surprised by how quickly the procedure was start to finish and how it was virtually pain free.

'And the results are incredible, I have a friend who has actually undergone surgery (rhinoplasty) and my end results are actually far better than hers and for only a fraction of the cost. Although the filler is not permanent and will fade it is definitely something I'm going to keep up with as it's completely changed my life.

'Being just 23 and having the social pressures from the media to constantly conform to today's "beauty ideal" I think that surgery is becoming completely normalised...

'So being able to have temporary fillers that completely change the appearance of your nose and help pull people away from going under the knife to change there appearance forever, I personally think is great.

'It's made me so much happier and people haven't even noticed I've had it done - but I know I have and my confidence has risen dramatically!'

'Dr Ayad's page popped up on my Instagram and the same day I made my appointment. His treatments looked very good. All the women looked beautiful.

'I always thought about doing my nose but I am not brave enough to do surgery which is why fillers were a good idea.

'I was worried when I went there but after 10 minutes everything changed. It was unbelievable. He said it was going to look nice.

'[My nose] was very twisty, I had bumps in my nose and now all the bumps are gone.

'Now I look more beautiful, he made it more beautiful and exactly how I wanted it.

'My previous doctor put too much filler in my lips and I looked like a duck, I looked ugly. And now Dr Ayad does everything for me. I go to him every week.

'Some doctors want to do it to get some money but Dr Ayad is not like that. He tells me "no"; he gives you a lot of advice.'
