Ivanka Trump has shared 15 life lessons that she's learned over the year in honor of her 44th birthday - including her advice on overcoming 'pain' and 'sitting with what shattered.'
Ivanka turned 44 on Thursday, October 30, and took to Instagram to commemorate turning another year older.
She shared a carousel of different photos from the past few years, including a snap of her family at dad Donald Trump's inauguration this past January, and her and husband Jared Kushner in Italy for Jeff Bezos' wedding to Lauren Sanchez this summer.
In the carousel, Ivanka also posted some snaps of her children when they were younger; she and husband Jared share three kids together, daughter Arabella, 13, and sons Joseph, 10, and Theodore, eight.
'Each birthday (and today is my 44th!) invites reflection - on what I’ve learned, what I hold dear, and how I want to walk forward with greater clarity, courage and grace,' Ivanka wrote in the caption of her post, before she listed the various lessons that she had learned.
Her first lesson was about family, as she emphasized the importance of being close to her loved ones.
'Family remains the heartbeat of my life. Everything expands outward from there,' Ivanka continued.
However, her second wisdom was a bit more cryptic, as she quoted 13th-century poet Rumi about 'true healing.'

Ivanka typed: 'Peace is born not of forgetting, but of transforming pain into wisdom.
'As the poet Rumi wrote, "The wound is the place where the Light enters you." True healing asks for patience.
'The strength to sit with what shattered before building what’s next. In that stillness, empathy becomes architecture.'
The third piece of wisdom on her list had everything to do with kindness.
'Kindness is the simplest form of greatness. In a world that rewards noise and self-interest, being kind is an act of quiet rebellion. To be kind is not naïve, it is powerful, brave, and radical,' Ivanka wrote.
In total, Ivanka shared 15 of these life lessons with her followers.
Others included how you can measure success, as she referred to it as a 'scale,' and the important role that friendship plays in one's life.
So far, her post has garnered over 25,000 'likes' from her followers on Instagram.

In honor of her birthday last year, Ivanka posted 16 life lessons to her social media page.
At the time, her top lessons included that family and friends 'are everything,' to 'forgive people,' and that 'everyone is a teacher.'
Other lessons on her list included to avoid gossip, 'get sunshine daily,' and 'guard your peace.'
She also stressed the importance of having a 'strong body' and 'strong mind' while still being able to indulge in certain foods, like cake.
The socialite's birthday comes just two days after it was announced that she had been appointed to the glitzy FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund Advisory Board - an $100 million project partially funded by the sale of 2026 World Cup tickets.
The president's daughter proudly shared the news on her Instagram Stories Tuesday morning, while listing other board members, including The Weeknd and Shakira - who have both been critical of the president.
Along with The Weeknd, Shakira and Ivanka, other stars, including Hugh Jackman, have joined the board.
Professional athletes Serena Williams and former Brazilian soccer player Kaka are also a part of it, along with Jim Damare, the Co-President of Bank of America and Gianni Infantino, the president of Fédération Internationale de Football Association.

The group will use their own personal experience to help guide and ensure the fund 'achieves maximum impact' ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup next summer.
The goal is to raise $100 million to go toward education efforts. Global Citizen aims to help 100,000 children across more than 200 countries across the world.
The first round of grantees will be announced at the start of the new year.
The FIFA World Cup final is set for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
