I discovered the 'cheat code' to life that makes EVERYTHING easier: 'Anyone can do it'

People from around the world have revealed the simple 'cheat codes' to life they swear by day to day - and almost anyone can do them.

Learning to listen, saying no, speaking up, asking for help and getting enough sleep are just some of the 'hacks' that have helped many coast through where others struggle.

Thousands weighed in on Reddit sharing the secret practices that opened doors, helped them feel more confident and improved their connection with others.

One man said that really listening to understand and not to reply is the true secret to winning people over and works for him every time, making relationships a breeze.

'This is all the vast majority of people need for you to be on their good side,' he said.

Another thought admitting when you've made a mistake and being able to say sorry was another underrated, life changing skill that made people respect you more.

Setting proper boundaries, being able to say no without feeling guilty, making good eye contact and not being afraid to speak up were also 'game changers' for some.

'Saying no saves you so much time, energy and stress,' one said.

'Not being afraid to speak up, really. It is difficult only in some cases, but if you learn it, it will help you a lot in life,' another added.

'Looking into the eyes when you speak, as simple as it may sound, it helps everything,' a third chimed in.

Others thought that dilemmas could potentially be avoided by simply 'keeping your mouth shut' and taking time to observe what is going on around you.

Many said that learning to stop apologising for things that don't require an apology and asking for help whenever you need it are also effective cheat codes in life.

Some believed that being genuinely interested in people and showing kindness to everyone was another underrated hack for making things easier not just for others, but yourself as well.

'Being kind to be people even when you don't have to be. Seriously, it's like a life hack with hidden bonuses,' one said.

'Being kind doesn't just help others it makes you feel better too, it's like a cheat code for leveling up in life and it's free,' another added.

Others said that strong networks and social connections are a 'secret map' to opportunities that many miss.

And then there were people who swore that proper sleep, daily exercise, taking a shower, good diet and cold therapy were all simple ways to feel happier, stronger and more in control.

'Getting enough sleep, its like a secret hack for everything - productivity, mood, health,' one said.

'Shower when you're feeling down about yourself or mildly depressed. Shower, then go outside for a walk, get some air. It does wonders,' another added.

'If you hate everybody have something to eat, if you hate yourself, have a shower,' a third chimed in.

One man maintained that the ultimate life hack was being lucky enough to be born into a wealthy family.

'I think people do realise this one,' another shot back.
