Treatment of the week: Indulgence in silk
I've never been to a Sensai spa before, which isn't surprising as this one - at the beautiful Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel in the Swiss resort of Interlaken - is the only one outside Japan.
I'm here to try its new signature treatment - the Indulgence In Silk - a three-hour pampering session which promises to leave body and mind transformed.

But the thought of that long a treatment leaves me slightly panicked. What if I get fidgety or claustrophobic?
The treatment room is the size of my flat - it has a double day-bed, Japanese soaking tub, changing room and shower room. Claustrophobia isn't a problem.
The therapy uses rare Koishimaru Silk, which is anti-ageing and begins with a gentle cleanse, followed by a soft, silk body polish to exfoliate my skin.
After I shower, I'm led to a silk bath in the Japanese tub. Ten minutes later, sweating, I cool down on the day-bed.
Next is a back cleanse followed by a full body massage, a facial, a head massage and a complete body moisturising segment using Kanebo's Sensai Premier products. 'I want to buy them,' I exclaim.
But sadly, they cost €650 a pot. Lastly, I am treated to a silk powder massage across my chest and neck. Heaven!
I leave with a sample-sized pot of the Premier Body Cream and vow not to use it until my wedding day - and, as I'm single, that's some way off.
Double rooms from £297 based on a minimum of two nights. The Indulgence In Silk treatment costs €330 (£287), victoria-jungfrau.ch/en/)
