Expert guide to... applying false eyelashes
An occasional column to help you add a touch of glamour. This week, celebrity make-up artist Oonagh Connor's step-by-step guide to applying false eyelashes.

Pick up the individual false lashes by the tip using tweezers, then dip the base in the eyelash glue. Working from the outside of the eye inwards close your eye and add the lashes slowly but steadily
Keep building up the lashes working inwards towards the inner eye, applying more or less lashes depending on the look you are going for. If you want you can then add mascara to the lashes from underneath to add intensity to the look

Using a fine black liquid eyeliner, draw a line close to the lashes working from the inner eye outwards with the line getting slightly thicker as you reach the outer corner of the eye
The eyes are the focus here, so keep the rest of the look natural with a soft peachy blusher and a slick of rose lipgloss
