Clarifications and corrections
An article on August 28 about a study on the safety of e-cigarettes suggested that Professor Jonathan Foulds of Pennsylvania State University, one of the report’s authors, was paid to advise the industry. We are happy to clarify that, while Professor Foulds has links to manufacturers of smoking cessation products, he has done no paid work for e-cigarette or tobacco companies.
