Clarifications and corrections
In common with other newspapers, we published an article on October 16 about Madison Hawk under the headline, ‘Woman sold fake hair straighteners to fund £25k plastic surgery’. We are happy to clarify that no counterfeit goods were actually sold to the public and that Ms Hawk’s surgery was funded separately.
An article on Thursday about the ‘Legoland’ makeover of sheltered accommodation buildings in Penarth said the Welsh Government had contributed £500,000 to the work. We have been asked to clarify that their funding was in fact for support services for the residents.
