Should I have a coil fitted?
I have been suffering from endometriosis for some time now.
Last year I had key hole surgery (a laparoscopy) to remove a endometriosis-filled cyst from my right ovary, and I'm due to have another laparoscopy in a few weeks time.
My consultant has suggested that I have a Mirena coil fitted, but I'm concerned that this will affect my future fertility.
I also don't want to have one on moral grounds if it causes an abortion.
