Jordon Hudson back at Belichick's side for first ACC win this season
Jordon Hudson was back in her familiar position on the sideline as Bill Belichick recorded his first ACC win as North Carolina head coach on Friday night.
It has been a chastening season for the UNC football program, with Belichick's team 2-5 heading into its Halloween match-up on the road at Syracuse. And the NFL legend managed to secure his first conference victory in the college game, with UNC beating the Orange 27-10 at the JMA Wireless Dome.
As has been the case throughout this season, Belichick's girlfriend Hudson - 49 years his junior - was not far from his side, with the pair pictured walking off the field together, surrounded by security.
Belichick could be seen cracking a slight smile, something of a rarity this season, while Hudson chatted to him as they headed down the tunnel. The former cheerleader, now Belichick's de facto manager, has been at every one of UNC's games so far this season, seemingly ever more involved in proceedings.
Hudson wasn't the only familiar face in town for the game, after New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone also made the trip upstate to take in the game.
Boone's son Brandon is a student assistant on Belichick's staff, and his dad has been a regular attendee at games this fall. He wore a UNC quarter-zip as he sat in the stands for the big win over Syracuse.
For Belichick and Hudson, meanwhile, it has been a controversial few months, after Hudson helped with negotiations over an ill-fated Hulu docuseries which has now been canned.
Last month, she also went viral after behind-the-scenes footage was leaked from the set of Belichick's 'Coach' podcast. The clip, shared by Pablo Torre, showed Hudson, 24, and Belichick, 73, on the set of 'Coach' in New Jersey , where they were using the NFL Films' studios to record the podcast alongside Matt Patricia.
She repeatedly mocked podcast producers for what she perceived to be low-standard graphics that would help illustrate the talking points discussed by Belichick and Patricia.
She says she could have done them all better herself in five minutes, and jokingly asked to be paid 'two grand' for the work. She then requested a meeting with the entire graphics team and suggested she sits with them and points out everything wrong they do.
NFL Films, the NFL's own film and television production company, denied having any involvement in the leak via a statement sent to Pat McAfee, despite allowing Belichick to record his podcast at their studios.
