Trump made a dramatic entrance Monday night sporting an ear bandage - a reminder that he had been clipped by an assassin's bullet just two days before. The state of Florida put him over the needed delegate count and family members were there then too. Eric, Lara, Donald Trump Jr., Tiffany Guilfoyle and Boulos huddled with other delegates from the Sunshine State and cheered for the new nominee.

As that vote was happening, Trump let slip on Truth Social that he had made his VP pick and it would be Vance, a MAGA favorite and friend of Trump Jr. Vance and his wife Usha made their convention floor debut not long after, as the Republican delegates voted in unison to add him to the ticket.
