Jodie Whittaker will star with Viggo Mortensen and Jason Isaacs in the film version of C. P. Taylor's satire Good, about the rise of Nazi power in pre-war Germany, which director Vicente Amorim will shoot in the spring.
Jodie also has a small role in the This Life special being shown on BBC TV over Christmas.
More importantly, she stars with Peter O'Toole, Leslie Phillips and Vanessa Redgrave in Roger Michell's movie gem Venus, which, by the way, has a special gala at the Times BFI London Film Festival on October 19.
It goes on general release here in January, which is an awfully long time to wait for a film of such rare joy.
