Jennifer Lopez is mad hot for it. Ballroom dancing, that is.
The actress-singer has spotted a potential screen role for herself in the enchanting documentary film Mad Hot Ballroom, which opens in cinemas today.
The movie, by film-makers Marilyn Agrelo and Amy Sewell, follows children from three schools who have entered a ballroom dancing competition.
It's one of my top ten films of the year because, without being preachy or patronising, it teaches young children some basic life lessons - and I learned a few things myself.
The film features Yomaira, who teaches dance at a school in the Washington Heights district of New York. The kids have next to nothing, but they know how to dance.
Ms Lopez would like to play Yomaira should a feature film be based on the documentary. It's a cool idea if it ever comes to pass.
Meanwhile, just go and see the documentary - and start dancing!
