DANNY MURPHY absolved Everton striker Kevin Campbell of any blame yesterday over the injury that has ruled him out of Liverpool's next four games and England's trip to Istanbul.
The England midfielder was counting the cost of Campbell's challenge in the closing minutes of Monday's reserve-team derby, with X-rays confirming ankle ligament damage that will sideline him for a month.
There was no bitterness, however, with Murphy saying: 'It was nothing more than a clumsy tackle by Kevin.' On a brighter note for Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier, centre back Stephane Henchoz sailed through the match and is pressing for a recall against Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday.
