Caring for the communities we serve.

Across our ten offices, Crain fundraises for both national and local organizations, prioritizing organizations our employees are involved in. 

Our corporate giving program involves donations, fundraising and volunteering efforts to organizations and causes throughout the year. We also support organizations our employees are passionate about by providing support with promotions and donations. 

In 2024, Crain supported more than 45 nonprofits including: AAJA, AHF Induction Ceremony, American Cancer Society, Arthur F. PARTNERSHIPS

GD Crain Jr. Memorial Award annually awards top public service campaigns with five division winners and one winner of the “Ad 2” public service competition. 

Sid Bernstein Communications Award recognizes the most effective communications programs among AAF clubs and federations. 

American Business Media GD Crain Jr. Award given annually to an editor who has made outstanding contributions to journalistic excellence in business media. 

GD Crain Jr. Foundation Fund provides scholarships to students at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

Michigan State University Ignite the Future Partnership began in 2023. Part of MSU’s College of Communication Arts & Sciences, the program works to improve diversity in the communication field. Learn more about our partnership here
