West Side Services Program

The Merced County Clerk-Recorder’s Office has launched a six-month pilot program to bring certain Clerk and Recorder services directly to Los Banos. Beginning on July 1^st, 2026, services will be available at the front counter of the Merced County Spring Fair, located at 403 F Street in Los Banos.

The Office will be open on the first Wednesday of each month from July to December. Office hours will be from 9:00am — 3:30pm. See below for a complete list of available services and dates.

• Vital Record Services
  1. Birth Certificates
  2. Marriage Certificates
  3. Death Certificates
• Marriage License Registration  (must be within 90 days of Ceremony)
• Fictitious Business Name Statement Filings
• Professional Filings
  1. Notary Public
  2. Legal Document Assistant
  3. Process Server

* Document Recording Services and Marriage Ceremonies are not available at our Los Banos location.
