The A39 became blocked in both directions after a crash this morning (Friday, August 1). The major A-road became blocked at around 10.30am after a crash south of Penlean.
The traffic monitoring Inrix warned that traffic is queueing in both directions: "A39 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at Jacobstow turn off."
Just after 11.30am, the status of the A39 was updated to "partially blocked"
The A39 is now clear.
It is not clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision, nor whether anybody has been injured.
The Department for Transport has described the A39 as one of the most dangerous roads in the UK.
