Chitrakorn joined CNN from the Financial Times, where she was a Luxury Consultant and Acting Fashion Editor. She was previously part of the founding team at Condé Nast’s first business media title, Vogue Business, as a Senior Editor.
Prior to that, she worked at fashion trade publications The Business of Fashion and WWD, and on the fashion desk of the International Herald Tribune.
Chitrakorn is originally from Bangkok, and has written extensively on Asia’s economic transformation and its impact on local style and culture. Her first book, on the late Japanese designer Issey Miyake, was published by the Welbeck Publishing Group in 2025.
