Annual volunteer events
Each year, the City of Sacramento’s Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment Department partners with city leaders and community organizations to host impactful volunteer events that strengthen our neighborhoods. From citywide clean-up days to seasonal beautification projects, these efforts bring residents together to care for parks, trails, community centers, and shared public spaces.
Earth Day
The City of Sacramento invites you to join our Earth Day clean-up and beautification events happening citywide in April 2026. Volunteers will take part in trash pick-up and simple enhancement projects to help keep our parks, trails, and public spaces clean and welcoming.
