Walker Valley Falls To Ravenwood In State Flag Football Semis

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – In just two years of existence, the Walker Valley flag football team has already turned into one of the top programs in the state In 2025 the Lady Mustangs reached the state tournament where they fell to eventual champion Ravenwood in the AA semifinal. This year, the Mustangs again reached the state tournament, made it through pool play and again reached the finals bracket. Unfortunately the result repeated itself this time around as the Raptors ended the tournament run for Walker Valley with a 18-0 win over the Mustangs. Lookout Mountain, Tn., Takes Action To Prevent Gondola From Expanding From The Georgia Side

Lookout Mountain, Tn., officials took action Thursday to make sure a gondola proposed for the Georgia side of the mountain is not expanded to the Tennessee side. An ordinance was approved that amends the municipal code by adding acts that are prohibited within the town.
