Career Gateway Preparatory Program
Due to the highly selective nature of the Career Gateway Preparatory Program, pricing and enrollment details are shared through direct consultation.

Program Overview

The CertificationPoint Career Gateway Preparatory Program is a selective, immersive experience created for motivated students and career changers seeking more than traditional training. This program integrates structured learning objectives, real-world work experience builders, and direct employer connections to accelerate career readiness and long-term success.

Highly Selective Enrollment: Only 5 students per year are accepted, ensuring personalized mentorship, meaningful project exposure, and strong employer engagement.

How It Works?

Students will complete a real-world IT project (via direct placement) for a real business and receive pay after completion of 1-2 practice small projects. Between the students and business will sit a mentor to assist in guiding the project along. Initially students will work on two small projects to determine appropriate job roles for the live project. Once student roles are determined, the project will flow into a project-based workflow. This workflow web app will capture all correspondence and knowledge gained with respect to the normal project management phases. Within this workflow student hours worked will be captured. Once project is completed peer-to-peer, student-to-business, business-to-student feedback is provided. Students earn pay based on their job role. A Zoom or Google Meet session will be initiated and recorded for each session to capture student sign-in and sign-out. Once a project is completed student can work on additional projects which interest them with other groups of students via CertificationPoint regardless of which college the other students attend. Number of hours are based on project type, job role, and hours worked (Meet 1-2 days a week).
