Kevin Durant HOU PF
Rockets' Kevin Durant: Strong start to Rockets career
18m agoDurant recorded 21 points (6-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 38 minutes during Monday's 110-102 victory over the Mavericks.
That's now five games in six contests with at least 20 points for Durant to begin his Rockets career. Early on, the superstar forward is showing no signs of slowing down in his age-37 campaign. Durant has averaged 26.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks in 35.5 minutes per game this season, shooting 51.0 percent from the floor.
-
Jock Landale MEM C
Grizzlies' Jock Landale: Records four steals
21m agoLandale supplied 13 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and four steals in 30 minutes during Monday's 114-106 loss to the Pistons.
Landale put together a terrific game for the Grizzlies across the board. However, Zach Edey (ankle) is progressing and could return in the near future, limiting Landale's fantasy appeal for the long run.
-
Svi Mykhailiuk UTA SG
Jazz's Svi Mykhailiuk: Remains in rotation
22m agoMykhailiuk chipped in nine points (4-12 FG, 1-8 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes during Monday's 105-103 victory over the Celtics.
Isaiah Collier was cleared to make his return from a hamstring issue, but he did not see the floor. The coaching staff clearly likes what they see from Mykhailiuk, although it wasn't the best performance from the sharpshooter. He'll continue to be a decent three-point specialist for at least the short term.
-
Simone Fontecchio MIA SF
Heat's Simone Fontecchio: Another double-digit scoring effort
22m agoFontecchio had 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and one steal in 17 minutes during Monday's 120-119 win over the Clippers.
Fontecchio has been a steady source of offense off the bench, scoring in double figures in six of his first seven games. The sharpshooter's fantasy appeal is mostly limited to points and triples, but he should remain on deep-league radars until the Heat settle on a consistent member of the first unit in the frontcourt alongside Bam Adebayo.

Maxime Raynaud SAC C
Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Transferred to G League
1h agoSacramento assigned Raynaud to the G League's Stockton Kings on Tuesday, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Raynaud has appeared in only two of Sacramento's first seven games, but his place in the G League should offer him a chance for steadier reps. The rookie second-rounder should play a featured role as long as he's with Stockton.
-
Luke Kornet SA C
Spurs' Luke Kornet: Absence streak to continue
1h agoKornet (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
Kornet will miss a fifth consecutive game with a sprained left ankle. The veteran big man has no timetable for a return ahead of Friday's clash with the Rockets. Until Kelly Olynyk (heel) and/or Kornet are cleared for their season debuts, Bismack Biyombo should continue to handle the backup center role behind Victor Wembanyama.

Kings' Maxime Raynaud: Transferred to G League

Yang Hansen POR C
Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Back to G League
2h agoPortland assigned Hansen to the G League's Rip City Remix on Tuesday.
Hansen will be recalled after practicing with the Remix, so this is simply to get him some extra reps.
-
Jonas Valanciunas DEN C
Nuggets' Jonas Valanciunas: Blocks two shots in win
4h agoValanciunas supplied eight points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 12 minutes during Monday's 130-124 win over the Kings.
Valanciunas has his role solidified as Nikola Jokic's backup, averaging 8.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.2 steals over 12.0 minutes. Valanciunas' only path to seeing more playing time would be in the event of injury or absence.
-
Paul Reed DET C
Pistons' Paul Reed: Tacks two steals in win
5h agoReed ended with zero points (0-1 FG), one rebound and two steals in five minutes during Monday's 114-106 victory over the Grizzlies.
Reed does not appear to have a consistent role, as he is currently third in the depth chart at center behind Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart. Even with Tobias Harris (ankle) being ruled out Monday, which led to Stewart sliding into the starting lineup, Reed played only five minutes, which may be an indicator that he will not be among the rotation with a fully healthy Detroit roster.
-
Kevin Durant HOU PF
Rockets' Kevin Durant: Strong start to Rockets career
18m agoDurant recorded 21 points (6-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 38 minutes during Monday's 110-102 victory over the Mavericks.
That's now five games in six contests with at least 20 points for Durant to begin his Rockets career. Early on, the superstar forward is showing no signs of slowing down in his age-37 campaign. Jaylin Williams OKC PF
Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Active at shootaround
1h agoWilliams (shoulder) took part in Tuesday's morning shootaround, per Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman.
Williams is trending in the right direction ahead of Tuesday's showdown with the Clippers. With Chet Holmgren (back) available for Tuesday, Williams is likely to see fewer minutes and come off the bench if he's active.
-
Danny Wolf BKN PF
Nets' Danny Wolf: Assigned to G League
2h agoBrooklyn assigned Wolf to the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Wolf made his NBA debut Monday against Minnesota, but he played a mere three minutes. He's likely to see extended time in the G League to open his career.
-
Danny Wolf BKN PF
Nets' Danny Wolf: Debuts in garbage time
3h agoWolf (ankle) played the final 3:33 of Monday's 125-109 loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG), two assists and one rebound.
One of the Nets' five first-round draft picks back in June, Wolf was the final one to make his NBA debut after he sustained a left ankle sprain at some point late in the preseason. He was finally cleared ahead of Monday's contest, though he didn't end up checking into the game until the Timberwolves already had the game well in hand. Since Wolf doesn't look like he'll be a regular part of the Brooklyn rotation at the moment, he could be in line for frequent trips to the G League to see steadier playing time with the Long Island Nets.
-
Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL PF
Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Probable for Tuesday
4h agoAntetokounmpo (knee) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Antetokounmpo produced 33 points (14-21 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-9 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Monday's 117-115 win over the Pacers, including the game-winning shot. The MVP candidate is expected to play through his minor knee issue Tuesday during the second leg of Milwaukee's back-to-back set.
-
Isaac Jones SAC PF
Isaac Jones: Waived by Kings
6h agoThe Kings will waive Jones on Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
The second-year center will be forced to give up his roster spot with the Kings agreeing to a deal with Precious Achiuwa. Jones was a standout during the Summer League, but he wasn't able to crack Sacramento's rotation. He's likely to draw interest on the open market.
-
Simone Fontecchio MIA SF
-
Luguentz Dort OKC SF
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Participates in shootaround
1h agoDort (illness) participated in Tuesday's morning shootaround, per Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman.
Dort's presence at the session bodes well for his chances of suiting up Tuesday against the Clippers. He's officially listed as questionable. With Jalen Williams (wrist) on the mend, Dort should continue to soak up heavy minutes when healthy.
-
Jimmy Butler GS SF
Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Added to injury report Tuesday
2h agoButler (back) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Suns.
Butler is a rather late addition to the injury report, which generally isn't a good sign. It's also worth noting that Tuesday is the front end of Golden State's back-to-back set. Brandin Podziemski would likely see a bump in minutes if Butler is out, while Moses Moody and Buddy Hield would have a clearer pathway to playing time.
-
Naji Marshall DAL SF
Mavericks' Naji Marshall: Puts up nine points in loss
5h agoMarshall totaled nine points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 22 minutes during Monday's 110-102 loss to Houston.
Marshall currently sees a consistent 22-25 minutes off the bench and averages 7.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals. With Dereck Lively (knee) and Anthony Davis (calf) out, Marshall may continue to play in that minutes range, but once one or both return, those minutes may dwindle to accommodate Dallas' starters.
-
Will Riley WAS SF
Wizards' Will Riley: Grabs two boards in loss
5h agoRiley ended with zero points (0-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes during Monday's 119-102 loss to New York.
Riley played 10 minutes for the first time this season, as he is buried in the depth chart behind the likes of Corey Kispert, Cam Whitmore, Khris Middleton and Bilal Coulibaly. However, Middleton (elbow) being ruled out Monday paved the way for Riley to see extended run. It appears that the only way for him to play meaningful minutes is in the event of injury.
-
Sidy Cissoko POR SF
Trail Blazers' Sidy Cissoko: Fares well off bench
5h agoCissoko totaled five points (2-2 FG, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 14 minutes during Monday's 123-115 loss to the Lakers.
With Blake Wesley suffering a fifth metatarsal fracture in his right foot, Cissoko is the next man up for Portland, at least while Scoot Henderson (hamstring) is out. Cissoko has just 36 career regular-season games under his belt, but he made a strong impression on the coaching staff Monday and could be worth monitoring in very deep formats.
-
Svi Mykhailiuk UTA SG
Jazz's Svi Mykhailiuk: Remains in rotation
22m agoMykhailiuk chipped in nine points (4-12 FG, 1-8 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes during Monday's 105-103 victory over the Celtics.
Isaiah Collier was cleared to make his return from a hamstring issue, but he did not see the floor. The coaching staff clearly likes what they see from Mykhailiuk, although it wasn't the best performance from the sharpshooter. He'll continue to be a decent three-point specialist for at least the short term.
-
Anthony Edwards MIN SG
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Goes through practice
2h agoEdwards (hamstring) participated in Tuesday's practice, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
This is an expected update after Edwards was cleared for basketball activities Monday. He's expected to be re-evaluated in the near future, and previous reports have indicated that he would return around mid-November. However, if Edwards responds well to Tuesday's increased activity, his return could be imminent.
-
Jared McCain PHI SG
76ers' Jared McCain: To make debut Tuesday
4h agoMcCain (thumb) will make his season debut Tuesday against the Bulls, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
After undergoing surgery in late September to repair a torn UCL in his right thumb, McCain is set to make his grand return to the rotation. It's worth mentioning that Tuesday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so it will be interesting to see how the team handles his minutes. Once he gets his legs under him, McCain will likely have a significant role in the offense behind Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
-
Cedric Coward MEM SG
Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Drops 17 in loss
5h agoCoward accumulated 17 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 31 minutes during Monday's 114-106 loss to the Pistons.
Despite the Grizzlies' disappointing 3-5 start, Coward has been a bright spot off the bench, averaging 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.4 blocks and 1.8 threes made on insane 58/48/92 shooting splits. Monday also marked the first time Coward saw over 30 minutes of playing time in a game, indicating the coaching staff's trust in Coward to be productive for longer periods.
-
Max Christie DAL SG
Mavericks' Max Christie: Dishes six assists in loss
5h agoChristie accumulated 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and six assists in 33 minutes during Monday's 110-102 loss to the Rockets.
Christie drew the start again and did not disappoint, draining three triples en route to 17 points and handing out six dimes. In four starts this season, Christie is averaging 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.3 blocks and 2.5 threes made on an efficient 53.8 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from beyond the arc. While his free-throw shooting may need some work, averaging 66.7 percent from the line, this statline has been amazing and Dallas should continue to have him in the starting lineup while Anthony Davis (calf) and Dereck Lively (knee) recover from their respective injuries.
-
Tre Johnson WAS SG
Wizards' Tre Johnson: Drops 10 in loss
5h agoJohnson provided 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 21 minutes during Monday's 119-102 loss to the Knicks.
Johnson has scored 10-plus points in all but one game this season, serving as one of Washington's prominent bench scorers. The rookie is averaging 12.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.1 made threes.
-
De'Aaron Fox SA PG
Spurs' De'Aaron Fox: Another absence coming
1h agoFox (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Lakers, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
Fox continues to be ruled out of games a day in advance, which indicates he still has some hurdles to clear in his recovery. Consider him doubtful at best for Nov. 7 against the Rockets.
-
Ajay Mitchell OKC PG
Thunder's Ajay Mitchell: Goes through shootaround
1h agoMitchell (lower body) participated in Tuesday's morning shootaround, Justin reports.
Mitchell, who is listed as questionable, will likely test out his injury in pregame warmups before a decision is made on his status. He's been terrific to open the season with 17.3 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds per contest.
-
Nolan Traore BKN PG
Nets' Nolan Traore: Heading back to G League
2h agoBrooklyn transferred Traore to the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Brooklyn had briefly assigned Traore to the G League last Thursday before recalling him, so it's unclear if the rookie first-rounder will stick around with the Long Island club. Traore has appeared in just three of the parent team's first seven games.
-
Ben Saraf BKN PG
Nets' Ben Saraf: Assigned to G League
2h agoThe Nets assigned Saraf to the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
After losing his rotation spot to Tyrese Martin, Saraf will need to keep his reps up by going over to the G League.
-
LaMelo Ball CHA PG
Hornets' LaMelo Ball: Won't play vs. Pelicans
2h agoBall (ankle) is out for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
Tuesday will mark a second straight absence for Ball. The superstar guard's next chance to return from a right ankle impingement will come Friday against the Heat. Collin Sexton should run the Charlotte offense Tuesday, and rookie Sion James should hold onto streaming appeal until Ball is ready to play.
-
Darius Garland CLE PG
Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Could return Wednesday
3h agoGarland (toe) could make his season debut Wednesday against the 76ers, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Garland, who underwent offseason surgery to repair his big toe, is expected to be upgraded on the official injury report. Whether that's a questionable or a probable tag remains to be seen, but this is a huge boost for the Cavaliers. When Garland gets the green light to return, he will likely have some type of restrictions early on.
