Virginia Alves was a Senior Distribution Editor at Insider Inc. leading the web social media team, a team focused on distributing Insider's articles via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. Previously she worked as a Distribution Editor focusing on breaking news and push alerts, and as an Associate Distribution Producer focusing on the weekends. Virginia has a B.S in Public Relations with a concentration in Digital Media and a minor in French from Texas State University. Before Insider she worked at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee as a social media editor and the Olympic Channel during PyeongChang 2018 as a freelance community manager.
