BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.
All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Caitlin Howle Caitlin Howle is a writer, educator, and digital marketing pro based in Providence, Rhode Island. With a background in creative writing and English, Caitlin’s work spans journalism, poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction—with bylines in a range of magazines and journals.They teach composition, rhetoric, and arts marketing at Rhode Island College and Dean College, and run a small business that helps other creatives and entrepreneurs get their stories out into the world. | |

Christopher Verleger Chris has been reviewing theater throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts since 2006. He recently moved back to Massachusetts and now works in Boston, but spends his free time at his home in Southern Rhode Island. | |

Jay Pateakos Jay Pateakos, a former full-time newspaper journalist, started his theatre review journey more than 10 years ago and has reviewed more than a hundred plays for the Herald News of Fall River and Cape Cod Times for performances at Providence Performing Arts Center, Trinity Repertory, Zeiterion Theatre and more than a dozen theaters across Cape Cod. He has been reviewing for Broadway World Rhode Island since the fall of 2021. | |

John McDaid John G. McDaid is an award-winning science fiction writer and freelance journalist from Portsmouth, RI. He grew up in NYC, where visits to Broadway sparked a life-long love of theater. He worked both on-stage and off during college — including as tech director on a national tour — before moving into a career in corporate communications. A graduate of New School University with an MFA in fiction from Salve Regina Univeristy, he did doctoral work in media ecology at NYU and is an adjunct professor of communications at Roger Williams University. He is a member of the American Theatre Critics Association, and sees as many shows as he can in Rhode Island -- and beyond. |
