We long to see flourishing churches, which are representative of their communities, and where people are led by the Holy Spirit in growing the Kingdom of God. We pray for renewal and transformation of ourselves, our churches, and our society.

Step into a nine‑day pilgrimage from the 15th - 23rd May 2026, for an adventure of prayer, story, and hope. Kingdom Seeds in Local Soils coincides with Thy Kingdom Come and is part of our Bristol diocesan Rhythm of Life. It's a call to pray that the seeds of God’s kingdom may be sown in every corner of our diocese. You can join us for as much, or little, of the journey as you are able - even if that's simply saying hello as we pass through!

How Mission to Seafarers serve in Avonmouth and how your church can get involved

The Mission to Seafarers supports men and women working at sea around the world, offering practical, emotional and spiritual care. The charity has served seafarers visiting ports along the Bristol Channel since 1836 and has several links with the Diocese, including a dedicated chapel in Bristol Cathedral.

Local vision and creativity celebrated at 2026 Church Transformation Awards

On Tuesday, 12 May, Churches from across the Diocese were celebrated at the 2026 Church Transformation Awards. Held at St James Church, Mangotsfield, the awards recognised outstanding projects from the past year that have transformed church buildings to better support worship, mission and community life, celebrating the hard work and commitment of volunteers and staff.

Cathedral remembrance service for those who have died affected by homelessness

On Tuesday, 14 May at 2pm, Bristol Cathedral will host their fifth annual Service of Remembrance for those who have died affected by homelessness.
