Aromatherapy massages
My grandmother tends a lavender field. She stuffs cushions with it and insists on placing them next to the bed for a calm and restful sleep. I trust my grandmother, but I need to check how aromatherapy works.
Wow! It turns out it works wonders. Massages, pleasant conversations and a cup of tea in the palms of your hands, enriched with the scents of essential oils, can not only provide pleasure but also reduce stress, fatigue and a multitude of things that arise from prolonged work.
So, I descend into the vaults of the Bokšto SPA for a massage with a carefully selected bouquet of essential oils. Soon enough, I realise that the world of scents is so diverse and mysterious that only by trying them will I discover what I like the most.
Thank you, grandmother, for the direction!
Essential oilsAG produced by Italian manufacturer MEI are extracted using a unique cold extraction method that preserves all of the plant’s active ingredients and achieves an exceptional level of purity (AG). Although technically not classic absolutes, the purity level and concentration of active ingredients in these essential oils are comparable to those of the highest quality absolutes. These essential oils are produced using advanced closed-cycle technology, which involves a mixture of carbon dioxide and ozone gas – without chemical solvents or high temperatures.
Once inhaled, this extremely pure chemical compound reaches the brain in just 2 seconds, is detectable in the blood after 20 minutes, and begins to act at the cellular level after 22 minutes. By choosing the new generation of essential oilsAG, you are choosing a technologically advanced, ecologically clean, and biologically effective product.
AG – Bokšto SPA marking, indicating an essential oil of absolute purity.
This is an extremely gentle massage technique: slow, asynchronous movements calm the nervous system, providing a sense of flow and inner order – time melts away and the mind calms down. The experience is often accompanied by a state similar to meditation: deep relaxation of the body, rest, and greater resistance to everyday stress.
Before the procedure, sesame oil is mixed with sage, sweet orange, and lavandin essential oilsAG. The dominant sage, together with lavandin, helps to reduce inner tension, while sweet orange provides light and emotional balance. This neurosedative combination has a deeply calming effect – especially suitable for the evening.
Note: sage essential oil should not be used during pregnancy, if you have epilepsy, or if you have very sensitive skin. We work with small concentrations that are safe for massage.
The human face carries shadows, sun rays, glances of passers-by, our own reflections in the mirror… I pause. The thought arises: how nice it would be to give the face more radiance, beauty, and charm.
The secret of aromatherapy face and head massage is simple: slow, gentle, and rhythmic.
The citrus aroma resonates so harmoniously, complementing the non-greasy, nourishing face cream. After performing relaxing and toning massage movements on the face, we proceed to the head. The combination of face and head into a unified energetic system creates conditions for comprehensive relaxation and deep rest. This result is achieved without outer effort, simply using gentleness, professional skill, and quality cosmetic products.
This procedure offers comprehensive effects: it helps achieve deep physical relaxation and has a nourishing and moisturising effect on the skin. Based on a special technique, this massage is suitable for everyone feeling physical fatigue, wanting to relax tense muscles and switch to a physical rest mode.
Coconut butter, which moisturizes and softens the skin and is suitable for all skin types, is mixed with verbena and myrrh essential oilsAG right before the procedure. Verbena is known for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, while the relaxing effect of myrrh is perfect for drier, mature skin.
Is a calm mood a good mood? Sometimes this question arises when the world around us is only accelerating, and we want to pause and understand what is happening.
I feel calm – after this relaxing massage, it’s as if I were on vacation in a cozy cosmic retreat. Anxiety and nervousness are far away, replaced by a feeling of calmness and even bliss.
Sunny notes of sweet orange and lemon bring light, cardamom subtly lifts the mood and gives a feeling of cleanliness, coriander creates an enveloping background of coziness, and a wave of ginger warmth provides a sense of security – a perfect choice for a winter massage when you want more light and coziness.
I am looking for shelter from the turmoil of thoughts – like a never-ending stream of whispers. Gradually, I am discovering a bridge between the body and the silence of consciousness.
At the heart of this blend are lavandin and marjoram – two classic essential oilsAG with neurosedative properties, known to ease anxiety, relax muscles, and invite deep rest. Frankincense, patchouli, and palmarosa ground the emotions. The blend is designed for the evening, when calm becomes a conscious choice rather than a moment of drowsiness.
