Relient K claims its fifth No. 1 on Top Christian Albums, as Air For Free debuts atop the list dated Aug. 13. The set, which is the rock band’s eighth studio effort, sold 9,000 copies in the week ending July 28, according to Nielsen Music. All five of the group’s No. 1s have debuted in the penthouse.

The act’s previous set, 2013’s Collapsible Lung, launched at its No. 2 peak, selling 16,000 copies in its first week. The band’s strongest first-week sales performer was their fifth LP, Five Score and Seven Years Ago. It opened atop the chart dated March 24, 2007, with 64,000 copies sold.

Concurrently on Top Christian Albums, Leeland’s fifth studio set, Invisible, starts at No. 5 (3,000). Invisible marks the group’s third appearance in the Top Christian Albums top 10.

Hezekiah Walker’s Second No. 1: On Top Gospel Albums, Bishop Hezekiah Walker’s Better: Azusa The Next Generation 2 flies 21-1 after pre-street date sales enabled its No. 21 debut a week earlier. The album sold 6,000 copies in the week ending July 28, and gives Walker his second No. 1 — and second in a row.

The new 10-track set follows his chart-topping Azusa: The Next Generation, which crowned the list for three weeks in 2013.

‘Thy Will’ Hold at No. 1: Over on Hot Christian Songs, the chart is led for a second week by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family’s “Thy Will.” The ballad — which is up in sales, airplay and streams for the week — is the first single from the Love Remains album, released on July 29. The set is on track to make a high debut on the Billboard 200 next week, with an expected handsome launch on Top Christian Albums and Top Christian Albums as well.

For Hillary Scott — who is also the frontwoman Lady Antebellum — the track is her first in the Christian genre. It also enters the Christian Airplay top 10 for the first time, gaining 4 percent and rising 11-9.

Boosted by its sales performance of 9,000 downloads sold (up 12 percent), “Thy Will,” which debuted on Christian Digital Songs at No. 2 (May 14, 11,000), reaches the 100,000 sales mark, as it rules Christian Digital Songs for its ninth frame. A second track from Love Remains, “The River (Come on Down),” enters Christian Digital Songs at No. 21 (2,000).

For King & Country’s Sixth Top 10: Finally, entering the Hot Christian Songs top 10 is the duo For King & Country, with “Priceless” climbing 13-10 (and is up in airplay, streams and sales). On Christian Airplay, the track dips 10-11, but increases by 4 percent in audience. “Priceless” is the sixth top 10 on Hot Christian Songs for the act, comprised of Australian-born brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone.
