Aurora’s Siren Song Breaks Through on New Solo Version of ‘Into the Unknown’ From ‘Frozen 2’

Even though Idina Menzel sang “I’m sorry, secret siren, but I’m blocking out your calls” in her Aurora-assisted “Into the Unknown” song from Frozen 2, Aurora’s ethereal vocals shimmer under their own spotlight in a new solo version of the track.

No longer sequestered to just being the eerie “Ah-ah, oh-oh” whispers interspersed throughout the film’s standout song, Aurora unleashes her full vocal power on “Into the Unknown.” Her solo venture sounds more gentle and subdued than her and Menzel’s robust, blockbuster anthem, which peaked at No. 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in December.
