Josh Glicksman

Writer

Josh is an associate editor at Billboard. He first joined the publication as an editorial intern in 2018 and returned as a full-time staffer in early 2019. In addition to working across departments on a daily basis in order to keep print and digital products primed for a timely publication, he covers artists and stories rooted in the pop, alternative, rock and hip-hop spaces. He is responsible for booking and editing Billboard’s monthly Chartbreaker franchise, which focuses on acts breaking big for the first time on the charts. He does the same for a Billboard Hot 100 Q&A that runs in each issue of the magazine and assists with The Sound section. Josh has a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University Medill School. His work has also appeared in publications including Entertainment Weekly and Consequence of Sound. Outside of Billboard, he can be found longing for cold weather and looking for the best sandwich shop that the closest city or town has to offer.
