Our Dubai bus tours feature entertaining audio guides, which offer fascinating insight into Dubai's history, culture, architecture and landmarks. Audio guides are available in the following languages:

Audio guides can be accessed via complimentary headphones, distributed when you board the bus. Simply plug them in to the audio transmitter on the seatback and select your preferred language channel. You are also welcome to listen to commentary via your own wired headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack.

Do I need to choose a date for my tour?

Yes – when you book, you will need to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to secure your seat. If your ticket has extra inclusions, you may also need to book dates and times for these inclusions after your purchase is complete via our Booking Portal. Big Bus Tours offers sightseeing tours of Dubai by open-top double-decker bus. Commentary is provided in a choice of 6 languages. You may hop on and off at any of our stops to visit attractions and places of interest.

What can I see and visit?

Bus stops are conveniently located near popular landmarks and attractions, so you are able to hop on and hop off the tour as you please. I have a few hours stopover between my flights and want to take a tour. Which is the nearest stop to the airport?

Dubai Creek (Red Route, Stop 11) is the nearest stop to Dubai International airport. The best way to get there from the airport is via a short taxi ride.

How does the website discount work?

Is there a discount available for groups?

Is it possible to hire one of the open-top buses for a private event?

What is the child ticketing policy?

Child tickets are available for children aged between 3–11 years. Children aged 2 years and under travel free of charge but must have a ticket due to Dhow Cruise passenger manifest requirements. Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

How will I know where to get off?

The pre-recorded commentary on the bus will announce each stop by number and location as the bus approaches. Please refer to our routes & maps information to plan which stops you would like to hop off at.

How do I activate my ticket?

Once you've purchased your ticket, download and open the Big Bus Tours app, tap 'Add Booking' and enter your booking reference. On the day, if you have a 'hop on, hop off' ticket, open your bus ticket and press 'Activate'. For all other tickets, you don't need to activate - just show your ticket in app to the driver to board. If you’re having trouble, speak to a staﬀ member at the stop - they’ll be happy to help.

Are the buses wheelchair accessible?

Can I change the date (and time) of my bus tour?

Yes. If you have a ticket that's 'fully flexible' you can change the date (and time) of your bus tour booking without charge. To make the change, please contact us.

If you don't have a 'fully flexible' ticket, we can still change the date of your bus tour, but please be aware that charges may apply.
