Service Amendments – Sunday, November 2nd, 2025

Please note that our service will be subject to slight service amendments on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 due to road closures that will be in place to accommodate the Hot Chocolate 15K Run.
Due to this, the following amendments will be in place.
The Big Loop - Red Route
- The first bus of the day will depart at 11:00 instead of the regular 10:00

Service Update – Sunset Tour
Dear Customers,
Please note that our Sunset Live Tour will no longer be operational starting 18th of October, and the last Sunset Tour of this year is scheduled for 17th of October.

Route Information
The Big Loop (Red Route):
First Bus: 10:00am from Stop #1: Chicago Riverwalk (98 E. Wacker Dr.)
Last Bus: 5:00pm at Stop #1: Chicago Riverwalk (98 E. Wacker Dr.) during March and April
Full Circuit Time: 2 hours (approx.)
Bus Frequency: every 30 - 45 minutes.
Sunset Live (Night) Tour (Blue Route):
Departs: August 22nd - September 11th - 6:30 PM from Stop #11: River North (614 N. Clark Street, in front of the Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's)
September 12th - September 30th - 6:00 PM from Stop #11: River North (614 N. Clark Street, in front of the Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's)
October 1st - October 18th - 5:30 PM from Stop #11: River North (614 N. Clark Street, in front of the Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's)
Full Circuit Time: 90 minutes (approx.)
Bus Frequency: one tour per evening
Closure Dates
In the summer months, our service frequency between buses is usually 20-30 minutes. Sometimes there are unexpected delays due to protest marches, traffic congestion (especially late in the day), and special events. Please download the Big Bus app for the best route information.
On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events.
