England head coach Steve Borthwick, speaking to BBC Sport: "I am really pleased for our supporters to be back here at the Allianz Stadium and to get the win for them in these difficult conditions, it was a very greasy ball and pitch.
"[In the first half] we were a bit too eager and forced a pass in those positions. For a week's preparation that is to be expected and as the team grows we will get better."

England head coach Steve Borthwick, speaking to BBC Sport about his side's defence: "I thought the way the players responded was magnificent.
"I think Wiggy [Richard Wigglesworth] is doing an amazing job on defence and he is a top quality coach. We know next week it will be a different test and we will have to be even better than we were today.
"There is chance to improve this week, train really well and enhance our performance."

Tommy Freeman wasn't quite as effective at centre as he has been on the wing, so that may be an area Steve Borthwick looks at.
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Tom Roebuck on the wings were dangerous and great in the air.
Flanker Guy Pepper got through a mountain of work and played the entire game to show his importance - not a bad first England game at Allianz Stadium.
Good options and selection problems to have.

England fly-half George Ford, speaking to BBC Sport: "I am obviously delighted with the result in the end. It was a tricky game for a number of reasons. The first game brings challenges, the weather and going against a well-trained team.
"When you are dominant and the scoreboard doesn't reflect that you feel like you have to go chasing for points but we just wanted to build pressure.
"We know that with our set-piece and the lads coming off the bench that they were going to add some impetus."

George Ford played 73 minutes which shows his importance to Steve Borthwick.
He sent plenty of aerial contests up that were on the money.
Only one successful conversion will annoy him, but he showed his summer form from Argentina by guiding his team to victory.
Fin and Marcus Smith will likely get a chance to respond against Fiji.

"There was a thunderbolt moment with the intercept, which can cloud your judgment, we felt dominant but you look at the scoreboard and it is only 10-7.
