  3. FULL-TIME Hearts 3-2 Rangerspublished at 18:15 GMT 2 November

Hearts held off a Rangers comeback to move above their SWPL rivals into fourth in the table, as Leanne Crichton's side fell nine points behind leaders Glasgow City.

The hosts were 3-0 up at the Oriam after a Georgia Timms double - the first from the penalty spot - and a Georgia Hunter strike.

But Rangers fought back, with Kathy Hill netting before the break and Mia McAulay scoring a beautiful curled effort to set up a tense final 30 minutes.

Hearts held on though, with keeper Rachel Johnstone producing a few outstanding saves, and inflicted Rangers' third defeat in four SWPL matches.

  4. FULL-TIME Montrose 1-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:32 GMT 2 November

Montrose consolidated their win over Partick Thistle before the international break with a draw against Motherwell.

Bailley Collins did have the visitors to Links Park ahead, scoring from close range to put Paul Brownlie's side ahead before the break.

But Kaela McDonald-Nguah scored three minutes into the second-half to level - her fifth of the season.

That was how the score would stay, meaning the Mighty Mo stay two points ahead of their rivals for the final top six berth.

  5. FULL-TIME Hibernian 3-0 Partick Thistlepublished at 15:20 GMT 2 November

Hibernian made it seven unbeaten in all competitions as they eventually broke free from Partick Thistle at Meadowbank.

Although Kirsty Morrison gave them a comical opener - smashing into an empty net after Ciara Grant and Jeni Currie collided - it took until the 79th minute for the second goal.

No surprise in guessing the scorer. Kathleen McGovern took her goalscoring form for Scotland back to Hibs, flicking in a corner at the front post.

Ellis Notley got the third in injury time, scoring from distance to ensure all three points and making sure Hibs went back ahead of Celtic to second in the table.

  6. FULL-TIME Glasgow City 5-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:09 GMT 2 November

Glasgow City remained five points clear at the top of the SWPL table with a five-goal win over Aberdeen at Petershill.

It took until the 40th minute for City to make the breakthrough, but they were two ahead by the break.

Nicole Kozlova tucked away a rebound for the first, before Natalia Wrobel split the defence and put Sofia Maatta through on goal, with the Fin slotting home for the second.

Centre-back Lana Golob volleyed in the third after 75 minutes, with Mebae Tanaka and Lisa Forrest adding gloss to the scoreline in the final 10 minutes.

The two sides meet again next week in the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals.
