Police authorities for United States of America don arrest one 27-year-old man wey allegedly kill im papa and stab im sisters.
New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) ontop dia website confam say dem don arrest Chukwuebuka Eweni becos of di alleged homicide wey im commit on November 11, 2025, for 8000 block of Pebble Street wia one pesin die and two oda pipo injure due to injuries from stabbing.
Police tok say dem carry di two surviving adults to local hospital wia dem dey receive treatment.
"At about 9:59 p.m, NOPD Seventh District officers respond to di location to investigate di reported battery, dem believe say na family mata. Wen dem reach dia, dem see one unresponsive adult male subject, e sustain at least one fatal stab wound and two oda adult victims wit stab wounds," di statement tok.
"We carry di two surviving victims go one local hospital, wia dem dey treat dem for dia injuries."
Local newspapers bin report say di Eweni family members no gree tok to tori pipo but dem don release one of di victims from di hospital, and di oda pesin still dey receive treatment and she go survive di injury.
Family members tell police say Eweni dey suffer from mental illness but im no dey violent but di incident wey hapun dat night wen Eweni grab knife dey shocking and dem no know wetin enta inside am.
Dem tell police say afta im stab dem, Eweni go New Orleans East Hospital, wia e dey always go for mental help.
Di hospital transfer am to one facility for Jefferson Parish, na dia police track am down and arrest am.
Afta police investigate, NOPD Homicide Section detectives find out say na Eweni be di prime suspect, and dem get warrant to arrest am for one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. Dem believe say e get gun and dem no fit predict wetin go hapun.
