Workshop Performance: A week in the life of a BBC Singer

Join us at the Maida Vale Studios for a powerful celebration of emerging vocal talent.

Following a week of inspiring workshops, young singers aged 18–30 from Vox Next Gen, the National Youth Choir 18–25, and the Finchley Children’s Music Group come together for this special performance.

This concert showcases repertoire by leading contemporary female composer, several of whom have close creative relationships with the BBC Singers. The programme offers a rare preview of the musical ideas and voices shaping the landscape ahead of the BBC Singers’ world premiere of Shiva Feshareki’s opera Divine Feminine in March.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
