Franklin Battlefield

Set amidst the southern outskirts of Franklin, Tennessee, recently reclaimed portions of this historic landscape and interpretive centers at the Carter House, Carnton Plantation and Cotton Gin Park provide visitors a unique window into this bloody 1864 battle.  A museum is located one block west of the Carter House.

The American Battlefield Trust and our members have saved more than 182 acres at Franklin Battlefield.
