Advertising

All advertising sales are final and nonrefundable. These include the following: display advertisements in The Writer’s Chronicle digital magazine; conference program advertisements; conference mobile app advertisements; website advertisements; and email advertisements (biweekly newsletter and conference emails). Donations

Thank you for supporting AWP’s services and programming for writers. Donations are nonrefundable. They are also tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. If your level of support includes additional items such as a membership or a conference registration, please see the refund policies for those items on this page.

Memberships

Individual memberships will be fully refundable for up to thirty days from the original payment processing date. After thirty days, the purchase will not be refunded.

Academic and writing organization memberships are nonrefundable.

Memberships of any type are nontransferable. If you have questions about your membership status or your benefits, please contact us at [email protected].

Subscriptions to The Writer’s Chronicle

The Writer’s Chronicle digital magazine subscriptions will be fully refundable for up to thirty days from the original payment processing date. After thirty days, the purchase will not be refunded.

Conference & Bookfair Refund Policy

Bookfair Exhibit & Performance Space

All bookfair exhibit space and performance space is final and nonrefundable upon submission of the Bookfair Exhibitor Agreement to AWP. Please see the conference platform to view the full  Exhibitor Terms & Conditions. This includes all exhibit space (i.e., booth and table exhibits, performance space, and displays, as well as the bookfair stage). Exhibit space shall also be interpreted to mean any meeting rooms or other function space at an event venue used by an exhibitor for exhibits. Conference Attendee Registration

Conference registration sales are final and nonrefundable. Please see the conference platform to view the full Attendee Terms & Conditions. A registration may be transferred to another individual provided this individual is not already registered, the registration is used for the same conference, and the individual qualifies for the type of registration being transferred.
