The Nordic Watercolour Museum guest studios
Across from the museum on Bockholmen, with their feet in the water, stand five guest studios. Overnight guests can rest and relax here, with inspiration right next door at the museum. Unwind with nature as your closest neighbour and engage in creativity that needs no online connection. The studios are used primarily for artistic and art history research and development activities. Among other things, they are used for the museum’s short-term residency programme (7Dagar). The studios can also be rented by artists, course attendees and private individuals. Each studio can accommodate a maximum of two overnight guests, who are responsible for their own food and drink, bedding and cleaning on departure. See more information below.

Booking requests must include the following information:
- Full name of the person making the booking
- Number of guests, and their names
- Desired date(s)
- Contact information: address, telephone number, e-mail address
Please note that your booking is not complete until you have received a booking confirmation.
Information about the guest studios
- The studios are 52 m2 and have a sleeping loft with two beds (90 cm). The number of beds in each studio is a maximum of two (2) and no additional beds may be added.
- Each studio has a desk, chairs, shower and toilet, and a kitchenette with hotplates, an oven, kitchen equipment and a refrigerator.
- Smoking and pets are prohibited in the studios.
- In accordance with Chapter 6 of the Act on Tobacco and Similar Products (2018:2088), The Nordic Watercolour Museum is a completely smoke-free environment – this includes the area surrounding the museum and the guest studios.
- Boats are not permitted to anchor by our studios.
- Guests are responsible for their own food and drinks, bedding, towels and cleaning on departure.
- Please note that wi-fi is not available in the guest studios.
