Mahram Tehran (Superleague) landed 5 times Iran Super league's back to back MVP Parrish Petty (college: UTRGV). Petty is the second foreign player in the roster as Nigerian O.D. Anosike signed here earlier.
He played this summer at City Oilers in Ugandan NBL league. In 5 Basketball Africa League games just recently he averaged impressive 19.0ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.0apg and 3.4spg (in top 3). This season he played at Ahly Benghazi (D1) in Libyan league.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in twelve different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. Petty has played previously professionally in Belarus (Minsk), France (Sluc Nancy), Greece (Apollon Patras and Ifaistos), Hungary (Kormend and Szolnok), Italy (RO Virtus and Pesaro), Lebanon (Moutahed), Lithuania (Dzukija), Romania (Giurgiu), Slovakia (Vahostav-Zilina), Venezuela (Trotamundos), Iran (Gorgan) and PBA (Cent.Illinois D.). He won Iranian Superleague championship title in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Petty voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Player of the Year in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
He attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
Petty graduated from University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2011 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Santa Clara University, Allen County Community College.
