Matthew Baugh, MHA, COT, OCS, OCSR
Matthew Baugh is the Academy's manager of coding and clinical teams. His management experience in ophthalmology includes overseeing compliance, internal audits, quality improvement projects, clinical operations, and optimizing reimbursement. His clinical experience includes working as an optician, scribe, technician, and ophthalmic technician supervisor. He is a contributing author to the line of Academy coding products. He is also a recipient of the Academy's Secretariat Award.

Heather H. Dunn, COA, OCS, OCSR
Heather H. Dunn is the Academy's manager of coding and reimbursement. She has extensive experience in ophthalmic practice management. She has held positions as an ophthalmic assistant, optical technician, insurance biller, and practice administrator. She is a contributing author of the Academy coding product line. Under the direction of the AAPOS Socioeconomic Committee, she helped initiate a practice manager program for pediatric ophthalmology.

Jessica Schroeder, MPH, CPC, OCSR
Jessica Schroeder is the practice administrator at Cape Fear Retinal Associates in Wilmington, N.C., a growing five-doctor, retina-only practice. She joined the practice in 2018 after working eight years at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins in all facets of the billing department, as well as being a trainer for new providers and technicians. She is the AAOE board chair, served as an Academy volunteer, and assisted in Codequest instruction.

Joy Woodke, COE, OCS, OCSR
Joy Woodke is the Academy’s director of coding and reimbursement. Her 35+ years of experience in ophthalmology includes all aspects of practice management, accounting, coding and billing. She is the author of The Profitable Retina Practice series, senior editor of the Academy’s coding product line, and provides private consultation services for the Academy. She is a recipient of the Academy's Secretariat and Achievement Awards.
