Fashion Week runs until Monday with a packed schedule of events, presentations and major designer debuts.
However, industry insiders always find time to check out the new hot spots in town, whether it’s a restaurant with a breathtaking view, a super-chic spot like Twiga, an exhibition paying tribute to the late photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri, or a stroll down Via della Spiga, where two new stores have opened.
Here’s a list of the latest openings.

Among the restaurant’s signature dishes are the spaghettone with yellow datterino, cuttlefish ink and fermented strawberries and the ricciola with tomato, buttermilk and basil. Orizzonti offers more than 200 labels of Italian and international wines.
The interior design is characterized by a refined aesthetic with high-quality materials such as marble, wood and metal, the palette inspired by earth tones. The walls and ceilings feature the same shades with hues of brown, gray and beige, while the parquet is made of walnut and the floor is in Zebrato Margraf marble. One of the most iconic elements is the four meters long social table in Silver Stream marble. Next to it, the sculptural works from the Velata Drapes collection by Margraf, designed by Raffaello Galiotto, enhance the environment. The lighting is designed by Flos, and the seating is by Pedrali.

Sea Signora Milano

Brera is welcoming a new food destination: Sea Signora Milano, located at Via Fiori Chiari, 32. At the helm are Antonio Fresa, the owner, and executive chef Roberto Godi.
The venue spans more than 3,715 square feet and can accommodate 80 guests between the restaurant and bar. Godi’s cuisine is a tribute to the traditional Mediterranean seafood culinary heritage, and among the specialties, there are oysters with black and red caviar, Milanese-style seafood with lemon salad, and sole “alla Roberto” enriched with clams, moscardini and razor shell.
The wines and cocktails comprise a selection from France, with a focus on Burgundy and Champagne. The bar, led by Milanese mixologist Alessandro Orlandini, features a drink list built on three pillars: great classics, signature low-alcohol drinks, and a monthly section dedicated to experimentation.
The restaurant was completed after a nearly yearlong renovation led by architect Fabio Bronda of Bronda architects studio. The central room of the venue is dominated by a large open kitchen, while the walls are characterized by warm tones with large purple velvet curtains and glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. A distinctive element is the large cylindrical aquarium, with plants and colorful effects.

“Sara Enrico. Under the Sun, Beyond the Skin” Exhibition

Fondazione Furla and Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Milano are continuing their collaboration by presenting the solo exhibition by Italian artist Sara Enrico, titled “Under the Sun, Beyond the Skin” until December.
Curated by Bruna Roccasalva, the exhibition is a site-specific project that unfolds in the outdoor spaces of the Villa Reale gardens. Enrico’s work explores the concept of transition as a constant state of experimentation, digging into the mix of different languages and considering the surface or “skin” of a subject in relation to its form and material composition. By combining approaches from tailoring, choreography and architecture, Enrico’s practice brings together materials such as concrete, pigment, fabric and steel.
This exhibition marks the seventh installment in the ongoing collaboration between Fondazione Furla and GAM, which was launched in 2021.
