2000: VOX Cinemas launches. The region’s first multiplex cinema debuts, pioneering the region’s entertainment industry. Today, VOX operates more than 600 screens across the Middle East.
2005: The doors of Mall of the Emirates and Ski Dubai open to the world. The region’s first “shopping resort” debuts with 550 stores and the Middle East’s first indoor ski slope.
