Together, we’ll swap stories, surface challenges, and explore ways to better connect the dots between community contributors, product teams, and creators who are translating our work for the world. This discussion builds on ongoing efforts to unite WordPress YouTubers and aims to open up space for idea-sharing, collaboration, and networking. March 24, 2024 — This session offers a detailed explanation of the WordPress release process. The session goes deep into the various steps involved in launching a WordPress release. Viewers will get a deep understanding of how WordPress is released.

September 30, 2023 — The panel brings together a diverse group of people for an honest discussion about underrepresented folx involvement in the WordPress open source project.

The panelists will discuss their achievements, struggles and give advice to those starting out.

February 14, 2023 — In January 2023, a few community members from the FSE Outreach Program gathered to discuss various upcoming features specific to Block Themers:

– Applying local styles globally: push block design changes from post/template editor to global styles.

– Inputs for Custom CSS: add custom CSS from the site editor Styles panel.

– Exploring the Style Book: show all blocks (including third-party) in site editor, making it easier to test everything when designing.

– Edit block style variations: edit (not yet create) existing block styles of a theme from the Styles panel.

May 2, 2022 — Ride along with Learn WordPress as we test new WordPress features together. We will aggregate your observations, questions, and comments in order to improve WordPress together–before these features go live!

What did we test in this social learning space? Blocks that will help recipe authors make their recipe blogs more interactive!
