In reply to: Remove mod rewrite from media attachment URLThanks,
It works !
Forum: Requests and Feedback
In reply to: Forum SpamHowever, your idea would defeat the purpose of the forums. You must be able to share links in answers, which will also be send by email. Many plugin developers link to their own documentation, others to their Repositories or other projects of wordpress.org. A filter as restrictive as the one you’ve described would therefore do more harm than good.
Hm, like an another solution can possible to replace ACTIVE SPAM LINK to TEXT LINK just in EMAIL BODY.
Because if SPAM LINK is ACTIVE it stands out of reply text, like a WORDPRESS FORUM LINK !
But if we make SPAM LINK like a TEXT, so user in 90% do NOT visit it ! And click to WORDPRESS FORUM link to read reply !
After when user click to wordpress forum link, is the reply was a spam, user can’t see anything, so user do not visit spam link too ! So, won’t have a sense to create a spam link in the reply anymore. Because in email body we make it a text and in forum it will remove by filters or moderators.

In reply to: Forum SpamI meanе email “filter” in general (not wordpress function).
So you just only rewrite my answer in your style.
But wordpress administration/devs need to fix it, to block spam vie email notification anyway.

In reply to: Maps integrationHello again, I solved, all works fine on a client side.
But, for curiosity, I want to know, if possible to have openstreetmap tiles (images) without load them to some container ? For example in a direct way something like : openstreetmap…/?…coordinates….&w=200&h=200&format=png ?
For example if I need to compile tiles on my own ?

In reply to: Regex for usernameOn this case not possible to count whole regex chars ?
Read a little bit about quantifier, so quantifier can’t count whole groups of regex ? only some part ? And it can’t be sum in the end ?

In reply to: Regex for usernameWorks !
Thank you so much, I can’t make a deep internet research now, to makes regex it at my own.
Looked at the regex info list I tried to added at the end of regex {4,15} min/max but it works not correct.
For example it’s start to count min from 5 and not 4

In reply to: Navbar and Focus on element (JS)Thanks !
It’s works.
I checked also a standart focus and how it works in different browsers and I noticed what in one old version browser it’s doesnt work not well, maybe because is bad configured or because it’s not support some thing. It seems like broser run focus but not arrived at focused point.. but in the all rest it works well.

In reply to: What format is this ?I am trying do not re-make the code if I can do the thing via standart wordpress functions/methods. 🙂
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: What format is this ?I have about 4-5 fields stored now in serialize array, and it work’s well.
In anyway we can read the data in serialized array directly, maybe it’s not uncomfortable like a search in single meta_value but it it very usefull in code – 1 query – you can get a related group of data.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: What format is this ?WordPress does not unserialize the data while running a Database query. If you frequently need to search for or filter a value in the serialized data, storing it separately is a better design choice.
I make it before, and it works well, but in this way I have a multiple not much grouped meta_key.
After I noticed in usermeta this a:1:{s:10:”subscriber”;b:1;} and I asked what is it and how it works.
Now is more clear, about how it works, but I am looking for a “standart” way to use it instead of create my own methods. WordPress read seriazile data like a normal text, ok, for this exist solutions too, which wrote about @threadi
