Thanks for reaching out and the explanation. That was the alert I was seeing, and I no longer see it after resolving my email server issue.
It would be nice if you put a tip tool there so users know what it’s about. Thanks

In reply to: [Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection] Multisite and Network ActivationIs anyone going to answer my question, or is there another place I should ask this question?
No need to response. I just removed the donor dashboard link because I decided there is no need to go there anyway.

In reply to: Browsing Custom URL Standalong PHP FilesDhruvik Malaviya and threadi, thank for your response and there is a lot to unpack here! So I’ll focus on what’s confusing me or where I seek further clarification.
Dhruvik, I understand what you’re saying about the general php practices and the code you’re providing. However with respect to database credentials, all my database credentials are stored in the default location in my wp-config.php file. I considered moving this file, but I trust that WP knows what they’re doing when they set up these installations. Are you recommending I move my
wp-config.php to a location outside of the default location?
threadi, when you write, “I would strongly advise against using PHP sessions unless you know how to use them and for what purpose you are using them. If I’m reading this correctly, are you saying that I should understand the “What” and “Why” of PHP sessions? If I understand the what, why, and how, then I’m ok with adding these into my code with little to no risk?
Ronald seeking clarification.wfpeter, thanks for the clear and precise explanation.

In reply to: Policy regarding Chatgpt in forum postJan, thanks for the article. I like this requirement, but how does wordpress enforce it?
“In addition, it is also a requirement that the use of such tools be declared within the response, to provide transparency, and set expectations.”Ronald

In reply to: Policy regarding Chatgpt in forum postThank you for your response. It seems I have struck a nerve, which wasn’t my intent! Which moderator should we listen to? One moderator says it’s ok as long as you check it for accuracy. The other moderator says don’t ever do it!
I don’t take any of these responses personally. Since it’s already been noted that there is no policy on ChatGPT, I’ll use my own judgment when writing in these forums.

I type an s after mysite.com/s and it publicly displays my sitemap. Is my sitemap suppose to be shown to the public? Does this represent a security hole?

Regards, RonaldHI Stef, I’m just asking a question. Why do I need to post my site url? What would you be looking for?
Ron
Jarryd, that works! The user only needs to log-in one time. In addition, it doesn’t present a second log-in page that redirect the user to the membership-account page.
Talking about killing two birds with one stone. PMPro application and team is killing it!

When I disconnect Jetpack from the wordpress.com site, the redirect works as expected without the extra login. Is there a way for me to keep my Jetpack connection to wordpress.com and have it work as expected, or do I need to ditch jetpack?
Anyone else having this issue?
Ron
Alright, I read this article that redirect all members back to the same page, so this is perfect!

However, I’m still getting this extra wordpress login that isn’t necessary. It will first request that you answer a math problem. When you submit the correct answer then you’re directed to the wordpress log-in page.
