In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Excerpt, not contentA big thanks

In reply to: Excerpt instead of content in the Search Result PageI confirm that the query loop block on the search page is set to default and not custom.
After writing the former message I changed a Parameter of the Query Loop Block, that allow you to limit the number of listed query’s outputs. It was set to 1, which partly explained the behavior that I told you in my message.
But, when I set it to 3 or 5, it gave the whole list of the title of the posts existing in my site, even those which hadn’t nothing do do with my quest. Like “Empty post” (which doesn’t have neither content, nor tags).Thank you, if you have any idea (but even if you don’t).

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Excerpt, not contentSorry: I’m using Twenty TwentyFive.
I can extrapolate from examples, that I should simply write [Twenty twentifive] in the object case of the help request form.
Again: thank you

In reply to: Excerpt instead of content in the Search Result PageAgain thank you. I could replace the content block with the excerpt block.
Bu I have another problem. When I enter “Wedding” in the search bar, although there are two posts with titles: “The Wedding (Zoning)” and “Wedding 2”, only the second (i.e. “Wedding 2”) comes out as a result. I imagined that all the titles where the word “Wedding” appeared would be displayed.
Any idea what I should do?

In reply to: Search outputThank you.
I tried to find information and I found that most of the themes come with a search results page and a Search Results template. I’m using the 2025 theme and, when I open the page tab of the site editor (Appearance>Editor>Pages) I don’t find any page with this name. But there is a Search Results template. Its structure corresponds to what i see on my screen when I make a search. Here is a screenshot. This is the search result template.
I opened a post that I had created and is called “Empty Post”. I entered in the search bar the word “Wedding”
The result is shown in the next two screenshot that portray the upmost and the downmost part of the page where the search result is shown. The first par of the search result The last part of the search result, that I see when I scroll past the resulting post (that ends with the date 14/06/2025.
The list that follows the words “More Posts” is a complete list of all the post that exist in my site. Two of them (“The Wedding (Zoning)” and “Wedding 2″ contain the word of the search (2wedding”). The two others have nothing to do with it.I get this kind of answer with every search, both using the default search of WordPress and Relevanssi. I presume that I should either modify the Search Result Template, or create a Search Research Page, or both. But I don’t know how.
Could you suggest where can I find the necessary information? Or to whom can I address this request for help?
Thank you.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Terminology questionVery grateful. I think that ACCORDEON is the word I should use to find the blocks that open when I click on them.
But I think that I didn’t explain what is the other thing that I’m looking for. I’ll send tomorrow a better screenshot to make my question clearer.Thank you for the moment.

In reply to: Publish/UnpublishMy site hasn’t been yet launched and it is displaying a “coming soon” page. My idea was to launch it, show my friends the 2 posts that I have written, ask their opinion about the page-design and the writing style, then unpublish it, and to launch it again, when sufficiently fine-tuned. But maybe this isn’t possible.
What if I put it in maintenance mode?Thank you for your precious help.
Wow! Thank you. I’ll try it.

In reply to: Chose preview page for Site EditorI’m a little afraid of html and css code. I was used to program in C for a long while, but that was a long time ago. Since mid of the Nineteens I haven’t programmed any more. But I’ll try to jump into it.
