We’ve just released a bug fix version of the plugin, and we highly recommend that you update to version 3.4.9. This update should resolve the issue you’ve encountered.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to translate the plug-in texts with WPML.
Our best offer would be to create separate different widgets for the different languages.

I’d suggest checking if other form(s) you may have on your site are working correctly. If yes, it sounds like a problem with our plug-in we’ll need to check further. If not, I’d recommend checking with your hosting provider or set up a SMTP plug-in on your site. BTW, please feel free to reach out via the live chat function on our site if that’s easier for you.

Indeed, if your site is a multilingual one, what we’d recommend is that you create different widgets for different languages and target each widget to the respective language pages, e.g. widget 1 would only appear on language 1 pages, etc. Multiple widgets are available in our paid plans only however. Would this work for you?

Besides what my colleague suggested, we would recommend that you also add some text to the WhatsApp chat pop up, in the “Welcome message” area in order to guide your website visitors about relevant messages they can send you through the WhatsApp channel. Would you like to give this a try?
